Siyaah is produced by IRK, it is an independent low budget film and seems to be popular because of its different subject matter. Its story revolves around black magic and exorcism. It is not related to terrorism neither to religious intolerance and love story. This film shows the widespread dilemma of black magic in Pakistani society.
New talented group of actors from Islamabad are playing different roles in this film. Azfar Jafri is the director of this film who is a self taught filmmaker. This is a debut film of Azfar Jaferi. A comedian Osama Khalid Butt is a script writer of this film.
Imran Raza producer of the film claims that this will be a different film from all films of 60’s and 70’s. This story is a nice blend of drama and suspense and with balanced ingredients. He also added that this film is a result of 3 years research. This horror movie is going to be released on 15 March. This movie seems a tremendous effort by new talent.
Siyyah is a skin crawling punch of horror with the perfect blend of suspense the story of the film revolves around a family which haunted by their disbelief. This film is full of thrill from its start to end. It is a self funded film. The horror of movie will take you in state of anxiety and fright.
Low budget films never reach to cinemas but Siyaah seems to be lucky in this regard. We hope it will be a ray of light to the darkness of the film industry, and will be gloom for it. It will be popular among folks due to uniqueness of story and theme. The Pakistani film industry definitely needs talented and educated people for its progress. Film maker have to be stay away from worn out and old themes and new talent should be given a chance to prove themselves.
