The Pakistani film industry has produced movies in many genres,. We have seen action, comedy romantic and social issues base film. But no one in this industry took a step to make a science-fiction film. Now the Pakistani film industry is taking a great u-turn , by making Nation Awakes which is tremendous addition in revive of Pakistani cinema.
The film is produced by Amir Sajjad. Nation Awakes is to be considered as first ever film in the history of the Pakistani film industry, which has the huge budget of 200 _ 250 million rupees. This film also has association with Hollywood, Australia and UK studios. Many fresh and talented producers have endeavored their latest project with the aim of taking Pakistani film industry ahead. Amir Sajjad the producer and main hero of the film said that Nation Awakes is not a normal superhero movie as others are. He stated that they want to explore the current scenario of Pakistan with this film. This superhero aims to prevent humanity globally in the context of Pakistan.
Amir Sajjad also added that story begins from the time when this superhero lives with foster parents. The movie doesn’t show the background of the hero or don’t reveal the details that from where he came.
80% scripting of this movie is completed, the film’s casting will start in April 2013 and the mystery to be released in June. Sahir Ali Bagga is the music director of this film. Song lyrics are done by Riaz Ur Rehman Sagar and Sabir Zafar. Sara Raza Khan is Singer of film.
We are hoping for a great movie which will be a milestone in the revival of Pakistani Cinema. When Hollywood has Spiderman and Batman, Bollywood has Krish and Ra-One then why not Lollywood own its superhero.
