Ramadan is the most honorable month of the Islamic year which is a sign of true bliss from the lord and fasting in the month of Ramadan is also a way of Allah of showing his blessing upon His creation. Allah has said that,
“Fasting is for me, and only I will give award for this”.
It clearly tells us the importance of fasting in the month of Ramadan. In the month of Ramadan, people become closer to their lord and they offer many additional prayers in this month which, as result, shows more blessings on them.
Fasting Is the most important Pillar of Islam: Most spiritual Islamic month (Ramadan). This month is the month in which Holy Quran has complete. In Ramadan we have no right to eat in whole day. Our Roza started early in the morning we finish our meal before Fajar Azaan and after finish our meal.
When beginning the fast- Seher
“وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ”
Translation in English of this prayer is: “I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan”
After this we work whole day and come back our home before namaz-e-Maghrib (The time for Namaz-e-Maghrib commences soon after the sunset and lasts till the sky completely turns dark).
When breaking the fast- Iftar
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّى لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ امنْتُ [وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ] وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ اَفْطَرْت “
Translation of this prayer in English is:
“O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You [and I put my trust in You] and I break my fast with Your sustenance”
in Pakistan, the holy month of Ramadan will be starting from 20th of July in 2012. The month of Ramadan is also important because of the completion of the Holy book of Muslims, the Holy Quran. Shab-e-Qadar is one of the most holy nights which come in the holy month of Ramadan. This night is a gift of Allah to his creations and all the Muslims try to stay up till late night to offer their prayers in that night as quoted, each of good deed becomes double in that night.
