NADRA is the National Database and Registration Authority, which is Pakistan’s only leading system successfully working to provide all the solutions to Pakistan’s people about Identification, e-governance and providing identity to Pakistani people and foreigner’s the over seas identity with in Pakistan. It is working to implement the Multi Biometric National Identity Card and working to give all the solutions related to Multi Biometric e-Passport for Pakistani people. NADRA is also responsible for the issuance of Passport for Kenya, Driving License for Bangladesh’s High Security Drivers and also doing the solutions to Civil Registration Management System for Sudan.
NADRA is going to start the second phrase of issuing NADRA Watan Card for the flood victims. The number of NADRA Watan Cards issued is about 65 thousand which are given to the needy people of food victims. The suggestion was given by Tariq Malik who is the Deputy Chairman of NADRA. The NADRA has issued NADRA Watan Card on the basis of NIC of the people. Though this NADRA Watan Card, the effected people will be able to get a reason able amount to fulfill their daily requirements and needs of their lives. The eligible person for this NADRA Watan Card can simply register them selves with the NADRA to get NADRA Watan Card. This card will be issued to any one who is eligible irrespective of their gender.
NADRA has tried best to ensure the pure allocation of this NADRA Watan Card which should be free from any fraudulent act. And for making clearer, NADRA has opened a complaint room for the person who has any complaint regarding their NADRA Watan Card. The Sindh government has also joined hands with the government. Tariq Malik said that NADRA has so far issued 592,651 Pakistan Cards to the heads of rain-affected families in Sindh. 105,455 cards have been distributed in Mirpur khas, 240,227 in Badin, 79,946 in Tando Mohammad Khan and 156,324 in Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), 8011 in Tando Allahyar and 2684 in Sanghar.
Easy ways of getting NADRA Watan Card:
NADRA has given option of choosing a process of your choice for getting NADRA Watan Card, which is easier to you.
1st: The first process is very simple and most of the people rely on this process as they feel it easy to go to the NADRA office to get them selves registered. After the registration, NADRA will issue NADRA Watan Card to the eligible person after verifying all the documents of the applicant.
2nd: The second process is t get your self registered through a SMS. This is even simpler than ever, just type your National Identity Card number in a SMS and send it to “9888”. A code will be sent to you for the verification from NADRA to make your registration sure.
3rd: In third process, you need to call on the help line given by NADRA. The number is, +92 51 111 786 100.
How to verify NADRA Watan Card:
Now with a SMS you can verify your NADRA Watan Card, to verify your Watan card, simply send your CNIC number to 9777. In response to your text, a text message will be sent from NADRA department confirming if the CNIC is on the beneficiary list.
NADRA is also setting up centers and has mobilized its mobile resources Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs) to process CNICs free of charge in all affected areas in coordination with the public representatives and district administrators.

Watan card isuued me in 2010 but i receive amount(20000) only one time in the same year, after this my name did not come in any list. I check my watan card in ATM various time but there is no amount in it. There is nothing about my name at district level short listed. Yesterday in newspaper”30 Mar 2013 Express Islamabad) i read about watan card that the persons who receive it in 2010, receive the second lease with in 90 days.
