A remarkable invention of the students of Iqra University, a plane which can fly without the internal pilot as it has the ability to work with a remote. No need of pilot for the plane now, fly plane up to 100 feet high in the sky. The department of Electronics of the Iqra University always comes up with new and innovative ideas to bring a new product in the world which can bring a lot of new improvement in the world. This time the students of Electronics department have come up with another unique idea which is named as “Thunder Bird”. This is a small plane which can fly in the sky with out a pilot with its remote control. The remotely controlled plane can be used for the security purpose in any area. In the model of this plane students have told that this has a Geo Sensor Device in it which can control the fly. It also has a temperature sensor which uses to measure the internal and external temperature of the plane. Where as another amazing quality of this plane is that it can make video as a camera has been installed in it.
The students who have made this amazing and unique plane are Mustafa, Amir Khan, Dabeer Alam and Muhammad Umar who are students of Iqra University for the degree of BE (Bachelors of Electronics).
Thunder Bird has got 7cc engine inside and normally such small planes use to carry out almost 2 kilo gram of weight in their flight but Thunder Bird has the ability to carry out more weight. The inside camera has ability to show a clear picture and this camera has the ability to move around on 360 degree. The maker of this plane has told to the media that such kind of planes usually does not have sensors in it but we have added sensors in Thunder Bird which improved its working. Thunder Bird has the capacity to fly with an unbeatable speed of 9500 RPNs and it can stay in air with this speed for 20 minutes. The engineers and makers of this plane have said that they want to introduce this plane in the market and they are pretty much sure that this innovation will help the government to maintain and improve security.
