Pakistani model Veena Malik

Veena Malik is working in Pakistan film industry as a model and actress for more than ten years and has worked in many films in Pakistan and also in some of Indian films. She was born in the main dominating province of Pakistan Punjab in the Rawalpindi city. Her parents were also from the city Rawalpindi, her mother Ali Malik and Zeenat Malik were having a non filmy background. She completed her education as Bachelors of Arts having major subjects as Sociology, Psychology and Persian from Pakistan.

She has started her career with some TV shows and series as a Comedian and then she got a chance to work with Pakistani film actor Shaan and actress Zara Sheikh in “Tere Pyar Main” which gone on air in the year of 2000. This movie becomes a super hit in the box office and after this, the filmy career of Veena Malik started. As she has played a supporting role in this movie and thus she was selected by Javed Sheikh to appear in his film “Yeh Dil Apka Huwa” as a supporting actress in the year of 2002. After this, in 2003, she appeared in a joint project of Pakistan and India with the name of movie “Pind Di Kuri” which was a Punjabi movie. After this, the career of Veena Malik gone on top and she started getting more movies signed each year. In 2005, she did another Punjabi film “Bau Badmash”, and in the same year she worked in “Koi Tujh Sa Kahan”.

Veena Malik won her first award for being most stylish actress of Pakistan film industry at “Lux Style Award” in 2007 and in 2008; she worked in another Punjabi film “Mohabbatan Sachiyan” offered to her by Rafique who is a big name in Pakistan film industry. In this movie, she worked with her ex-fiance, Babrik Shah and this movie, luckily, got an identical and super success in other countries as in Pakistan. It was a musical hit movie with a lot of heart touching songs. She started working in one after another movie and got success in some of her movie.

By the side of working in films, she also worked in some TV series as host, comedian and actress with Prime TV and Geo TV. She also has got chance to participate in Indian Reality show “Big Boss” and through this show, she has got a lot of fame in India and Pakistan. She remained in news by doing some liberal acts with one of Indian actor, Ashmit Patel. She brought her self up in the news papers and in talk shows after her participation in Big Boss.

She excitedly done an item song in India name “Channo” and got a lot of eminence with this song. And recently, she is looking forward to get dirtier with the remix song “O La La”, which is a hit song of the Dirty Picture previously done by Videyah Balan.

Veena Malik has also come in eyes by doing a photo shoot in India for the cover pictures of an Indian magazine “FMH”. In her photo shoot with FMH, she wrote ISI on her arm. ISI is the Pakistan’s Inter Service Intelligence. By doing this vulgar photo shoot in which she was topless and was completely dress less, she has spoiled the name of Islam and many people protested against her act and demanded to put a ban on Veena Malik in Pakistan.

Except of working in films, Veena Malik has worked with some NGOs in Pakistan. One of them was “World Health Organization” in which she has given her services for two years, and other was “SOS Children’s Village” which is an Organization working for the rights of orphan children in Pakistan.
